Having witnessed so many awards,
none of the winners at this year’s IIFA is going to surprise any of us.
But we have taken the responsibility of keeping you posted on the
ceremony, so here we go. Ranbir Kapoor and Vidya Balan have again bagged the top two honours of Best Actor and Actress respectively at the 13th IIFA awards.
Vidya and Ranbir lifted the trophies for their impressive acts in The
Dirty Picture and Rockstar. Vidya received the trophy from the hands of
Kamal Hassan and Hollywood filmmaker Barrie Osborne and exclaimed that
accepting an honour from someone whom she idolized for so long made this
award even more special. She also reminisced that seven years back, her
first Hindi film Parineeta was showcased here and seven years hence,
she received the Best Actress award. Ranbir on his part too thanked
Imtiaz Ali, A R Rahman and his late grand uncle Shammi Kapoor calling
them the masterminds behind Rockstar.
Among other awards, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara clinched the Best Film
title leaving behind Bodyguard and No One Killed Jessica among others.
This made Zoya the obvious winner of the Best Director award while
